We are now looking for a FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR to join our European finance team.

In this role you are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all supplier invoices, employee expense reports and bank transactions into the general ledgers of the financial administrations Formica of companies in the Europe Nordic region. You are a part of Financial Administration European team, and you are reporting to Head of Financial Administration, UK. You can work remotely but the onboarding will take place at the Kolho factory, and we hope for your presence there when needed also in the future.

Your responsibilities are:

• the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, employee expense reports and bank payments and receipts

• preparation of the weekly payment run of supplier invoices and ad hoc manual payments

• maintenance of all supplier master data 

• providing the European business owners with reporting to support the collection of (overdue) customer invoices

• order release

• maintenance of customer master data, limited to credit checks and limits

• communications with credit brokers, insurers and agencies

• supporting the Financial Control teams during month-end with A/P, A/R and Cash related reconciliations and analysis and with the weekly cash forecast

Qualifications:

• Suitable degree (e.g. Financials, vocational qualification in business and administration)

• Experience in financial administration tasks / accounting support tasks

• Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills

• Willingness to travel occasionally (Europe, Kolho)

• Fluent in Finnish and English
